Tissage de Luz GOTS-certified
Tissage de Luz, a French linen house since 1908, is proud to announce that its products are now woven with GOTS-certified organic cotton yarn. After its honeycomb bath line went organic in the spring of 2021, it is now the entirety of the weaving and products of the century-old house that has gone green.
The dyeing of the yarns, carried out in the Tarn region, is done using environmentally friendly pigments.
Jérôme Fanfare, great-grandson of the founder Félix Gouze and current director of Tissage de Luz, is proud of this change of direction: "For five generations, our family has been perpetuating its know-how within our company, which became Tissage de Luz in 2002, and the gestures and values have remained the same to offer quality linen and collections developed in harmony with contemporary trends. The switch to organic cotton was a natural step in our evolution, in perfect harmony with current environmental values".
Certified AFNOR "Origine France Garantie" for all its products since 2014, Tissage de Luz creates, dyes, warps, weaves and manufactures all its products in France. The head office and the workshop are located in Espelette (64).
