CARE ADVICE

OUR COTTON FABRICS

All our fabrics are made from natural fibres and environmentally friendly dyes. They are "rough woven", i.e. they are delivered as they fall off the loom, without a finish. This means that during the first wash, we observe a natural shrinkage in the length direction of approx. 8%, which is why we always deliver our tablecloths longer than the stated measure. Please take this into account for made-to-measure products.

Before the first wash

In order to respect the nature of the cotton fibre as much as possible, we recommend that you soak your fabric for 6 to 8 hours in cold water before using it for the first time, or that you wash it in the machine, "cold wool cycle", without washing powder.

Machine wash at 60°

You can wash all our canvases with your usual detergent, using stain removers if necessary. We advise you to wash them separately during the first washings. Do not leave them wet in the drum of your washing machine. Attention: for curtains, we recommend dry cleaning.

Ironing

For better ironing, dampen your laundry slightly and use a hot iron.

OUR DECKCHAIR COVERS

In order to preserve the appearance of your cotton canvas, we recommend that you tuck it in after each use. The colours of the natural fibres will fade under prolonged exposure to the sun or moonlight.

OUR COATED FABRICS

The coated fabric is a cotton fabric that has received a special treatment: the coating of several layers of acrylic that makes it resistant to liquids.

Our coatings are very discreet to the eye in order to keep the "fabric" look, while remaining very effective. Make sure that the coated side is "covered side" (glossier feel). After eating, clean with a slightly soapy sponge. Rinse and wipe well with a dry cloth.

It is not necessary to machine wash your tablecloth often, once or twice a year at the most. Wash at 30° without spinning and without fabric softener. Hang to dry in the open air. You can iron it with a not too hot iron on the fabric side.

CURTAINS

During the first wash, we observe a natural shrinkage on the height of about 8%, which is why we recommend dry-cleaning.
