Sold to the unit

Tissage de Luz, Basque linen since 1908. Our company is based in Saint Jean de Luz in the Basque Country (64). Our fabrics are woven in France to high quality standards in keeping with ancestral Basque linen.

Please refer to the care instructions before use

All our fabrics are made from environmentally friendly natural fibres and dyes. They are "raw", which means that they are delivered as they fall from the loom, without primer. During the first wash, we observe a natural shrinkage in the direction of the length of about 8%, which is why our products are sold longer than their final size.

Before the first wash

In order to respect the nature of the cotton fibres, we recommend that you machine wash the fabrics once (cold wool cycle) without washing powder, and follow with another 30°C/85°F machine wash a little of your regular washing powder.

Machine wash at 60 °

You can wash all our canvases by machine with your usual detergent, using stain remover if necessary. We recommend that you clean them separately during the first washes. Never leave them wet in the drum of your machine.

Ironing

For better ironing, dampen your linen and use a hot iron

Ottoman Chiberta Collection

Ottoman Chiberta is a diving on the side of the eponymous forest that borders the ocean, in Anglet - Basque Country. Its stripes restore both the depth of the pine colorsmaritime, but also the power of the waves that lick the edge of the wood.
