A striped cotton tea towel with character

With the La Paz tea towel, kitchen linen becomes part of the décor. Its striped weave brings together a bright, sunny palette: soft pink, warm terracotta and luminous turquoise, anchored by a deep green. Draped over your shoulder while cooking, hung from the oven rail or folded by the sink, it brings a touch of summer to the kitchen all year round.

100% cotton, woven in France

Woven in France from 100% [GOTS-certified organic] cotton, this kitchen towel is soft to the touch and holds its shape well. A natural fibre, cotton dries glasses and dishes efficiently and grows softer with every wash. It is made in our workshop in the French Basque Country [and carries the Origine France Garantie label].

A collection to mix and match

The tea towel pairs with the whole La Paz collection: tablecloth, napkins, placemats and table runner, so kitchen and table match. It also makes a lovely gift, on its own or with other pieces from the collection.

Size and care

Size: [55 x 68 cm]. Sold individually.
Before first use, soak the tea towel in cold water for 24 hours, or machine wash it on a cold wool cycle without detergent: natural cotton may shrink by around 10%. After that, machine wash at 60 °C and do not leave it damp in the drum. Iron on a hot setting while slightly damp.

All our fabrics are made ​​from environmentally friendly natural fibres and dyes. They are "raw", which means that they are delivered as they fall from the loom, without primer. During the first wash, we observe a natural shrinkage in the direction of the length of about 8%, which is why our products are sold longer than their final size.

Before the first wash

In order to respect the nature of the cotton fibres, we recommend that you machine wash the fabrics once (cold wool cycle) without washing powder, and follow with another 30°C/85°F machine wash a little of your regular washing powder.

Machine wash at 60 °

You can wash all our canvases by machine with your usual detergent, using stain remover if necessary. We recommend that you clean them separately during the first washes. Never leave them wet in the drum of your machine.

Ironing

For better ironing, dampen your linen and use a hot iron
