100% cotton

Tissage de Luz, Basque linen since 1908. Our company is based in Saint Jean de Luz in the Basque Country (64). Our fabrics are woven in France to high quality standards in keeping with ancestral Basque linen.

All our fabrics are made from environmentally friendly natural fibres and dyes. They are "raw", which means that they are delivered as they fall from the loom, without primer. During the first wash, we observe a natural shrinkage in the direction of the length of about 8%, which is why our products are sold longer than their final size.

Before the first wash

In order to respect the nature of the cotton fibres, we recommend that you machine wash the fabrics once (cold wool cycle) without washing powder, and follow with another 30°C/85°F machine wash a little of your regular washing powder.

Machine wash at 60 °

You can wash all our canvases by machine with your usual detergent, using stain remover if necessary. We recommend that you clean them separately during the first washes. Never leave them wet in the drum of your machine.

Ironing

For better ironing, dampen your linen and use a hot iron

100% cotton High quality honeycomb, lightweight, flexible and absordant. 100x180cm

Elysée x Tissage de Luz Collection

The Elysée x Tissage de Luz collection was created in collaboration with the Boutique de l'Elysée. It offers a range of 4 essential summer products: a deck chair, a beach bag, a bath sheet and two kits.

Launched in 2018, the Boutique de l'Élysée aims to showcase French know-how, from the most traditional to the most modern. The profits from the sale of these products allow the Palais de l'Élysée to live a second youth, 300 years after its construction. The profits raised helped finance the first restoration work of the reception rooms.
